I went to high school with the parents of these two awesome seniors.

I’m so glad that they made the trip all the way to Grand Rapids….it was fun catching up and if you would have told either of us when WE were seniors, that we would be doing this at this point in our lives, we never would have believed it.

Koby & Ky {Grand Rapids Family Photographer}

Working with these brothers?  Total blast (yes I’m old and said blast)

We laughed…..hung out in the creeks….and had a great time.  They were both so incredibly polite and patient.  I know that having your portraits made isn’t something that kids look forward to….but you wouldn’t know it with these two because they didn’t roll their eyes at me not even one time….LOVED working with them.

This has been the best senior season ever.  Seriously, the class of 2017 is filled with talented and just plain awesome kids.  Sounds hokey, but it’s true.

Madelyn – FHN Class of 2017 {Grand Rapids Senior Photographer}

Madelyn is a rower for Forest Hills Northern.  Rowing requires an intense dedication…not only physically but mentally as well.  Not to mention the countless hours these kids put in (family too)

I love that she wanted to do some of her senior portraits at the boat house.  It was such an incredibly hot day, but you would never know it….she didn’t complain once and we had a fantastic session.

Spencer – FHC 2017 {Grand Rapids Senior Photographer}

This has to be one of the hottest summers that we have had in several years.  Not just a day here and there, but every, single, day!  But, because I have the best seniors EVER, it’s been ok!

It was 92 degrees out when we did Spencer’s urban senior session……not that I would hope for that weather, but no matter, we had a great session with some really cool images.

I was a little worried when I left for this senior session…..the sky was really, really dark.  Come on mother nature, no time for rain during senior season.

LOL, after about a half hour or so, it gently started to rain.  No worries, most of the park is surrounded by big trees and the light was beautiful.  It’s all good!
