Strength x two! {Grand Rapids Fitness Photographer}

fitness

I am really enjoying a different type of photography that I normally do…..what is that?

Fitness & Strength

Using more dramatic lighting to accent the beautiful curves & shape of the human body is challenging & exciting.

I had the opportunity to photograph two women who are truly inspiring.  I was just amazed at the strength they both have…and the dedication it takes.  Not just in the gym….but the kitchen.  What you eat is so important!  They are both the complete package.

What did I take away from this session?  GOALS!

Thank you so much for coming to the studio and letting me photograph your accomplishments…..

Becca {Grand Rapids Teen Photographer}

I think back to when I was a teenager.  Would I have the confidence to do a studio portrait session AND rock it out?  Nope.  I was pretty confident as an athlete, but if I didn’t have a basketball or a mitt in my hand……?  Forget it.  It was even hard for me when it came time to my senior portraits….that’s why I enjoy being behind the camera 🙂

Becca…..WOW.  You did amazing….and I have sooooo many favorites from your studio session.  You are sweet…..confident…..and well, just plain awesome!

Thank you so much for a fantastic shoot…..I hope that you love them as much as I do!

You have such a bright future ahead of you……enjoy every minute of every day!  I can only imagine the things that you will accomplish.

Connections – {Grand Rapids Family Photographer}

v blog

Extended family sessions can be crazy & a little chaotic.  It’s a good thing those words describe me ….to a tee.  I love the energy & laughter that always ends up sneaking in and making what you thought might be torture….into something fun & something you are now going to cherish for decades to come………

Sounds a little corny huh?  But it’s true.  You know, when I lost my Dad last year, the first thing we did as a family after the funeral was to sit down and pour through old family photos.  They are important….they are invaluable.

Take the time………

It’s been an interesting summer so far as far as the weather goes in West Michigan.  One day it’s 90 and humid and the next it’s breezy and in the 70’s.  But even with the fickle weather, it’s still been a fantastic 2018 senior season.

We had one of the milder weather days for Jacob’s session….I have a lot of favorites from this session.

Thanks Lori & Jake…..you were both a lot of fun to work with!
